The new National Council for the 2008-09 academic year met August 2 & 3 in Lancaster & York to discuss the goals and strategic plan of the fraternity for the coming year. Topics, ranging from expansion to recruitment/retention and all areas in between, were discussed at this event.
At the 2008 Pi Nu Epsilon, Inc. National Convention, three new officers were installed into the National Council.
Hope Feldman (Delta) was elected as the new Vice President - Internal Affairs.
Jennifer Kowa (Delta) was elected as the new Secretary.
Kelly Deneen (Delta) was elected as the new Historian.
Two Pi Nu Epsilon members were honored for their service and dedication to the fraternity.
Mandee Staub (Delta) was recognized as Pi Nu Epsilon's 2008 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year. She has excelled in her role as a member of the Expansion Cabinet and continues to develop new ideas to better inform and create future chapters of Pi Nu Epsilon.
Kelly Deneen (Delta) was recognized as Pi Nu Epsilon's 2008 Outstanding Member of the Year. For the past year Kelly has served as Vice President of the Delta Chapter where she has assisted in the upgrade of the associating system.
